Impact of privatizations in Peru

Abstract

It analyzes and evaluates the impact of the privatization process carried out in the country (1991–1998), during which more than 180 privatizations were conducted, totaling $7.7 billion. It also outlines the impact on macroeconomic achievements and the significant benefits to the general public, including improved services, products, and other factors such as increased employment.
